Mendi Lowe
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate
Welcome! I am so glad you’re here! Life isn’t always easy- but you don’t have to face challenges alone! I am thrilled to have the opportunity to walk alongside you as you learn to better understand yourself, others, and the world you live in. Taking this first step can be daunting but you are so capable of doing the hard work of self-growth!!
My name is Mendi Lowe. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate and
endorsed as a National Board Certified Counselor (NCC). I received my Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University in 2025.
If you are a Randolph County resident, my name may sound familiar! I was a prominent business owner in our community for nearly 25 years. In 2022 as my children neared adulthood, I sold my business and pursued my dream of becoming a therapist. I have been lucky enough to spend the past year working with Asheboro Counseling and Wellness as an intern. As a licensed therapist and former business owner with over two decades of real-world experience, I understand how overwhelming life’s transitions can be-whether you are starting over, reinventing yourself, or simply trying to find solid groundin an ever-changing world. I specialize in supporting women who are navigating the seasons of life- maintaining a healthy life/ work balance, new motherhood, divorce, empty nesting, aging parents, retirement, loss, or rediscovering your sense of purpose. These life transitions can create tremendous stress and lead to feelings of uncertainty, despair, and loneliness. You are NOT alone! My work is steeped in empathy, support and respect for each woman’s unique path. Having walked through many seasons of transformation myself, I bring not only clinical training but lived experience to our work.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent 25 years running a successful business. I know what it means to carry responsibility, manage high expectations, and still feel something’s missing. My style is warm, collaborative, compassionate and empowering-helping you reconnect with your inner voice, gain clarity, and take meaningful steps forward.
If you’re ready to navigate change with more confidence and self-compassion, I’d be honored to support you in your journey! I look forward to hearing your unique story!
