Ashadet Pantaleon
Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate
My name is Ashadet Pantaleon, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate with experience supporting individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief.
As a bilingual clinician, I am especially passionate about serving the Latino community. I understand firsthand the unique cultural and systemic barriers our community often encounters, and I strive to create a safe, affirming space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported.
I specialize in working with children from preschool age through adolescence, and I currently offer services in school-based settings, in-office, and virtually. My therapeutic approach is grounded in person-centered care, empathy, empowerment, and solution-focused techniques. These modalities are especially effective when working with children because they prioritize creating a safe and supportive environment where the child feels genuinely heard and understood. A person-centered approach fosters trust and helps children feel valued just as they are. Empathy allows me to meet children where they're at emotionally, which is essential in building rapport. Empowerment helps children build self-confidence, resilience, and a sense of agency-key components in their development. Solution-focused techniques guide children toward identifying their own strengths and using them to overcome challenges, which can be both motivating and developmentally appropriate for younger clients.
If you've found your way to this page, you've already taken a brave first step toward healing for yourself or your child, and I would be honored to be part of that journey. You are in control, and my role is to guide, support, and encourage you along the way.
