The Opportunity:
Asheboro Counseling and Wellness is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Billing Administrator to join our team. This full-time position will serve as the primary liaison for billing processes with insurance companies, Medicaid, and clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient accounts, ensuring accurate billing and timely collections. What You'll Do:

Use current medical billing procedures to create and submit medical claims

Coordinate with insurance companies to resolve claims, and resolve denial instances

Communicate with clients about any issues with their claims and past due balances

Work directly with clients to create payment plans

Verify insurance plans for new clients

Oversee monthly medicaid verifications

Communicate with therapists any issues with client insurance that may impact treatment

Process payments and update client accounts.

Make weekly bank deposits
We offer:

Annual Paid Time off: 15 days a year. After two years of employment, this increases to 20 days.

7 paid Holidays.

Pay:
-
$20/hour starting rate.
-
$40 technology stipend for computer/phone usage if applicable.
